The first thing I did today was pack and send out an order; a painting was sold. I decided to try a new shipping method for business reasons. However, it ended up taking me way too long, and I was even getting frustrated with this new application that I was using.
Of course, I asked my personal assistant (Chat, aka Mr. GPT, aka Employee of the Month) what was going on, and he simply told me that it was NOT possible to send the package to Germany with that app. Well, I listened to Chat and did not waste another second. I continued with the old way of sending my packages out, went to the post office, and dropped it off.
I did this while wearing my athleisure wear and went for a run directly from the post office. The run cleared my mind, and I decided to finish the font that I was working on. I had to create some visuals, which often takes more time than I want because graphic design work is actual work, and my perfectionism plays a role in that.
However, when designing these days, I am aware of my perfectionism and when it is holding me back. "But dude, can't you just let AI do your design work?" Nope. The thing about custom work, like my fonts, is that it is not as general as AI design work. You cannot just ask AI to use my brand new, fresh-out-of-the-oven font and design with it. Not yet…
