I wasn't planning on doing anything creative, I am a bit under the weather so I decided to just drop some paintings off at the post office and take some rest.
But when I an taking a rest I am usually messing around on my laptop. I have this idea of promoting my type foundry with a fun 3D character, that is based on me, that introduces the fonts. And now a days with AI you dont have to know any 3D tools you just ask AI to generate a 3D character based on a photo of yourself, which is quite fun to do.
But for some reason I couldnt decide on the colour palette of the scene I was creating. I use some bold colours for my type foundry but the all seem to mess up the character. So, I asked AI for soooo many combinations that costs me hours. Then the outfit… I think it is cool and also important to have a recognizable outfit as a character or as a personal brand even. Well, you guessed it, it took me hours to come up with a suitable outfit. And I got into detail about ever little strap and buckle.
But at the end of the day, I at least created something fun today, even when I feel a bit off. And I am grateful for that. Cheers.
