Video is just not my medium. If you want to create a half-decent video, you have to set up and think of so much stuff.
Someone once told me that I should make videos of what I was painting. The person said, "Just set up a camera and do the thing you normally do." Well, that is just not how it works. This has nothing to do with perfectionism. In this era of so many amazing content creators and such nice videos out there, who is going to watch a video with bad lighting, amateur sound, and that is all shot from one awkward camera angle? I don't. And that is exactly my audience—me. If I don't like watching the kind of video I am making, what is the whole point?

But I know that video is a huge medium to get your work out there. So every now and then, that thought goes through my mind, and I think, how hard could it be? Let's just go for it.
Also, I don't like creating "content" of something that I am creating. I just want to create the thing that I am actually making. I am not against multitasking, but this is mixing two disciplines at once that are not really mixable, in my humble opinion. It takes me out of the moment and out of my focus.
