It is 13:30, and I haven't eaten all day yet. I woke up at 8:00, directly fixed some stuff online, made myself some black tea, and then jumped straight into my tax administration. I have two days left until the deadline for Q3 because that is what you do; you wait until the last moment. To me, this is still quite new, so there is a lot of learning and talking to Chat.
I know that when I do this more often and have set up a good structure, it will all become easier. But to be honest, I want to learn about this. Tax is boring and scary, but you have to deal with it, so you might as well learn the tricks of the game. Yes, I could hire someone to do it, but again, I am still a small business, and it is still doable, so it is also quite clear to learn about it.
Although I am not painting, not working on my online business, and not doing anything creative at all, I take this moment to close this quarter and realize where I am at. I am doing it all myself, and I am not depending on a boss, which makes me very happy and free. Cheers to doing taxes!
