I've Created an APP in a Weekend.

I was working on my new blog journal project when I ran into a problem. My blog page is a WordPress website, but taking out my laptop every time I want to post an update kind of kills the whole spontaneous posting idea. With that in mind, I downloaded the WordPress app on my phone. But honestly, that app sucks.

That's how (and why) I decided to build my own solution. Guess what—I'm using it right now, writing and posting this directly from my own app on my phone. My best friend in this process was ChatGPT, of course, because I don't know anything about coding or developer tools. Yes, there are "no-code" AI tools to build apps with, and that's exactly what I used. I had played around with V0 before, but this time I switched to Lovable.

My idea was pretty clear: I gave Chat as much detail as possible, and it made a professional briefing for Lovable. At first, everything went smoothly, but later we ran into some hiccups. That happens. I just told Chat something was wrong, it gave me a solution, and we were back on track. The part I was most worried about was the backend—saving information, connecting my WordPress site, and even adding Google login. But again, thanks to Chat, I managed to go step by step until it all worked.

Now I'm writing this from my own app. I like it—it's simple, and it syncs perfectly. That said, I already have some plans for V2. Honestly, this whole thing was also practice in controlling my perfectionism. The goal was to solve my problem without getting lost in the details. I'm happy to say it worked.

On to phase two.
